Brian and Jess are still in DARWIN working........

Rod is flat out preparing for the WATERGARDEN OPENING.........November 8th......he's off getting more supplies today........

I have had some time to create some Christmas Cards the past week..I'll share some pics later......

ok...so I've been MIA.......working very hard with my FISKARS work as well as co-ordinating a GIRLS NIGHT IN....more to come tomorrow.......it's been a busy month for me work wise.....and Rod and I have been getting ready for the WATERGARDEN Opening.....only days away....NOVEMBER 8TH..........

We snuck away to PAYNESVILLE for a few days of R and R before the silly season starts.......just to recharge the batteries......and to have some down time to ourselves.....we love our little piece of paradise..........it's all been hard work getting it over the years....but we are really enjoying it now......and these are our so called retirement years........LOL!

Family birthday

Family news and Paperific

Well I've had an absolute blast working once more at PAPERIFIC!

I'm very tired today though as always after working a Show and standing on my feet for so long on a concrete floor.

Friday and Saturday we were crazy busy both days......over 11oo through the doors on both days....amazing.....and seeing it was at the Showgrounds...interesting to see that people still came...and more came.......so I think today will also be busy.

I managed to leave my camera with Kerri so have to get SARAH to pick it up for me today....LOL!

I have caught up with so many friends over the past two days......and I also got to network with some business owners......so that was great for me.......and amazingly enough I haven't lost my voice.....he,he.

So hi to Jess, Michelle,Lynette, Linley,Janet,Cathy, Nerilie,Marlene,George,Stacey,Robbie, Jorja and the list goes on and on........LOL!

I only took about 2 pics....a bit sad I know...but I think SARAH is taking some today.....so make sure you check out her Blog.....or the ANZ Blog.

FAMILY NEWS

Tim has booked his flight home from LONDON....woohoo.......he arrives on December 22nd....just in time for Christmas....so good! It's been nearly two years since I've seen him.

Mike is back playing cricket for Woori Yallock this season!

We are off to see Sally for her birthday lunch today......so that will be nice!

Brian and Jess both have work now in DARWIN....and are busily saving so that they can move on towards WESTERN AUSTRALIA in their travels around AUSTRALIA.

Brian is working on a MANGO FARM and Jess has work in a Bar/Gaming venue.

Rod has been flat out with preparations for the OPENING of the Blue Lotus Watergarden ......so I need to take some pics soon and get them up here.....it opens in 3weeks...OMG...it's come around so quickly!

Gardening around home

Well it's been gorgeous Spring weather over the weekend so Rod and I have been busy in the garden out the back.....after Mike pulled the pool out we now have a great open space that we need to fill....so we have decided to extend the outside entertaining area......so here's what we have been up to.....

.....pool has gone now and we have landscaped around the edges...Mike painted the fence after Rod took all the ivy off it.........and we are in the process of planting more drought tolerant plants......we also managed to shift some azaleas and they have all survived....amazing!!

We have about 6 parrots that come into the backyard each day....so we have set up a bird feeder with only a small amount of food for them.....we get heaps of birds as we have so many native plants that we have planted over the years to encourage the birds to stay around......we love watching them out the back!
