Just popping in to say that we are really enjoying the warmer Darwin weather....here's a pic of the Cannonball plant in the Botanical Gardens here......
We spent the first day in the GARDENS......just stunning and so darn tropical.....we loved it....more pics in a few days.......
Went to Mindil Market and fed the fish at the Aquascene.....amazing! Alos saw the most gorgeous sunset at Minil Beach....
We all had a lovely time at Adam (nephew)and Alyssa's Wedding yesterday which was held at "Twisted Vines" in SILVAN.
Unfortunately Mike became ill after the Wedding Ceremony so I had to take him home and then drive back......but I got back in time for the Pre-dinner drinks and Canapes........and spent the night on the dance floor with two of my friends from Playgroup days.....LOL!
We danced away all night.......we had a ball.......I'm paying for it today though........but hey...it was so worth it!I was well and truelly in party mode with holidays starting this week.........he,he.
Alyssa looked radiant all day and night...she glowed!
Check out the Wedding Cake......which later became our Sweets....two profiteroles each....OMG it was to die for.......LOL!
Not long now until the Craft and Quilt Fair in Melbourne at Jeff's Shed.......aka Melbourne Exhibition Centre at Southbank!
After helping organise all the Fiskars Craft Shows all year with Trea from HO I'll finally get to go to one myself.....LOL!
So watch out over the next few weeks for Show updates on here.....spread the word.....FISAKRS CRAFT STUDIO hits Melbourne on July 23rd......we shall have not one but two quilters also joining our TEAM this show.......as well as our Papercrafting TEAM....then there are also the NEW Kids/Beginner Workshops daily...so darn exciting!
So lots happening this year in the FISKARS CRAFT STUDIO!

I have had an absolute blast working for Stacey today on the door at PAPERIFIC!
I loved every minute of it.......got to catch up with so many crafters and meet so many more lovely people!
I also worked on the entrance door all day alongside the Security Guard (Mark)...the boss....LOL!
We had so much fun even though we both had our jobs to do....it was actually fun working today......with someone that was in a different job to me but we were able to share many shows experiences regarding crowds etc.........
So I learnt heaps from him......and I in turn was able to enlighten him on how friendly this Show really is..... It really is the friendly show with all retailers supporting this Show.....and all Stacey's employees worked tirelessly today! Robbie,George,Stacey and Jackie....
I loved being back on the PAPERIFIC TEAM....you guys rock!!
It's always such fun....lots of laughs....and to see Stacey looking so well at the moment was a real blessing for me as I haven't seen her for ages......you really looked great Stacey!A true trooper.....a real genuine crafter who loves life.....and sure has heck is going to beat this bl...................dy Cancer.....
I also caught up with the Scraptacular ladies....great seeing you all again......and boy....did they spend up BIG......sh.....sh.....sh......
It was lovely catching up with some of the EAST GIPPSLAND crafters who either trained it in from Bairnsdale or came by car.......Pam...Nerilie.....lovely seeing you guys again!

The food this year is much better and is in the building next door....much better......different catering team to last year......LOL1
PAPERIFIC is on again tomorrow and Sunday at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds......well worth the trip! Show specials.....lots of stamps,cardmaking supplies,scrapbooking and 7 Stands are offering FREE Make'n'takes.

I'm counting down the days now until we fly out to Darwin.....it's getting closer!
I'm now starting the packing into our two cases.....trying to decide what not to take.....LOL!
With the weather in the 30's up there we are going to be going from freezing cold here in the YARRA VALLEY to SUMMER type weather.......so from one extreme to another....LOL!
Think I'll cope though......he,he........I love the warmer weather.....and we'll have sunshine most days I would imagine.....yeh!!
So camera batteries have been charged today.....paperwork all in.....and clothes sorted.....
I have a few jobs to complete work wise before we go and a Wedding this Saturday at Twisted Vines in Silvan which we are looking forward to...as Adam gets married!
I'll be at the Picture 2 Page (Lilydale) Members Night this Thursday evening June 18th for a fun filled night of crafting and then Friday I'm working at PAPERIFIC EXPO in Melbourne for my friend Stacey Apeitos!
So come Tuesday evening when we fly out I'll be well and truelly ready for a restful holiday.......LOL!
Tim and Michael shall be around home to keep an eye on things whilst we are way.
Is anyone else going to PAPERIFIC EXPO this Friday at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds? 
I'll be there working for Stacey on the first day......Friday June 19th......bright and early......9am start for me.......and the public can come in from 9:30am - 5pm Fri/Sat.
Sunday the Show closes at 4:30pm......
I'm driving in and parking in the Showgrounds......$5 parking for ALL DAY PARK...not bad hey!
I love this Papercraft Show.....it's really a friendly Show where all the retailers help and support one another and Stacey has built this Show to where it is today......through a lot of hard work! A wonderful lady.....a wonderful family.........a pleasure to call her my friend!
Can't wait to catch up with the PAPERIFIC TEAM again.....it's been too long guys!

PARKING: The Showgrounds provides all day parking for Paperific guests at the low cost of $5. It is a quick drive via CityLink - just exit at Racecourse Road which turns into Epsom Road.
ARRIVAL: Enter the Showgrounds via the main gate in Epsom Road: Gate 1.

Brian and Jess went up to Mount Donna Buang on Wednesday this week so that Jess could experience her first real life snow......she loved it!
There's nothing like freshly fallen snow ..........it's beautiful.....
LOOK how lovely it looks hanging off the tree ferns.......so soft and light!!
They also went across the Cement Creek Skywalk.......
They have stayed longer than they had planned due to Jess having her tonsils out and then getting an infection and having an ambulance trip back to hospital.
Sadly a member of Jess's family passed way on Wednesday this week so that has also meant the kids will stay around for the funeral on Tuesday......then hopefully they can continue their travels and head North to Queensland.
We are off to the footy today to watch Woori Yallock and Healesville....should be a great match as both teams have only lost one match this season.....
