Santa Sleigh - HO HO HO

Each Christmas I like to Alter at least one Kaisercraft Project...this year I did the Santa Sleigh as I think the kids shall love it!

I painted it RED...and then set about embellishing it with tinsel,strips of punched paper,ribbon and flourishes......now all I need to do is fill it with some little surprises!

I used my Fiskars Border Punches and product from Bella that I had left in my stash!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I'm in the process of decorating our house for Christmas and have had fun putting up a few NEW Xmas Tree decos that we brought whilst in ALASKA in July/August.

We purchased these at the SANTA HOUSE, NORTH POLE, ALASKA......an amazing place to visit....I was just in awe of all the Xmas Decorations they had there from all over the World....

I was allowed to take pics inside SANTA'S HOUSE....so will share some soon on here....

I have finished all my     GIFT TAGS for Xmas........feels so good.....CARDS done.....TAGS done!

I had fun getting my FISKARS TOOLS out for these.....

my latest SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

My hubby (ROD) shares a special bond with SAM our grandson......and just over a month ago I took this pic of the three of them.....Rod,Sam and Gemma.....couldn't wait to scrap it!

I have used lots of product from the BELLA Paper Boy Paperz Range along with the following Fiskars Tools:

Fiskars Seal of Approval Squeeze Punch

Fiskars Microtip Scissors

Fiskars Circle Cutter

I have distressed around the background cardstock using my fingers and bone paint and also used fine sandpaper to distress around the embellishments

Journaling was by hand....and I also drew in a few white hearts with my Signo White Gel Pen.

Whilst the Kaleidoscope Punch was out....I created a fun topper for my leftover embellishments.

I've been pleased with my scrapbooking efforts this year....not sure I'll get much more done now until after Christmas.....once the silly season is upon us.....it's all systems go.......LOL!

I must admit I have loved scrapping my grand children!!!

I wasn't scrapbooking when my own 4 boys were this young...so it's been nice!

 

FISKATEER XMAS PARTY

Hi everyone,

Well we have seen all  the fun that the US Fiskateers have been having the past few months over at

FISKATEERS haven't we.....well guess what?   It's time for a FISKATEER XMAS PARTY at my home here in AUSTRALIA.........and I'm so darn excited to be hosting it!!!!

It shall be on Friday December 16th from 11am.......we'll have heaps of fun for all FISKATEERS....and thanks to FISKARS AUSTRALIA all attendees shall receive ...............sh........sh............................not telling yet....LOL!

You just need to be a FISKATEER to attend......too easy.............

Catch up

We are home now after having a week in EAST GIPPSLAND ....doing a little gardening maintenance down there.....and Rod went fishing most days.....just relaxing and doing things we love to do...we ate fresh fish for 3 days sooooooo nice!

I managed to craft getting some Xmas Projects finished...which I'm most happy about.....shall share some pics soon.....had lunch with Kay and Bev and Kevin......caught up with some neighbours....a nice relaxing week......

Our plants down there have grown sooooooooooo much.....very pleased with the way in which the NEW natives have taken.....we love to encourage the birds into our garden....

I enjoyed walking each morning and riding my bike around Paynesville.....EVEN HAD A RIDE down the Foreshore yesterday with Kay.....so nice as it's quite flat down there. There are a few new Restaurants and shops which have gone up......and we'll have the NEW Richies IGA open next time we head down there......opens on December 6th I believe.

I love getting HAPPY MAIL......these two packages arrived last week from Fynmark as a "thank you" for sending them through some project shares...................thanks Amy!

I'm about half way through my cards.....and have finished all my Gift Tags...yeh!!

Calving of the Glaciers

Found this pic as I have been sorting through my Alaskan holiday photos.....it's what they call the CALVING OF THE GLACIERS......(click on the pic for an enlarged view)

.....an amazing sight to both see and hear.....it's a loud roar like thunder when it happens....we just kept waiting to try and witness one...and we did....we were so lcuky....................we actually saw about 3 or 4 in College Fiord.....it's not far from Whittier in Alaska.

It's when the ice breaks off and falls away as the glacier is moving....

Working on my Xmas Cards this week

This was the display of cards I used last week in Spotlight Bayswater....just for ideas....so now I have 9 cards made for Xmas.....just need about 30 more.....so that's what I'm working on this week as well as finishing my Alaskan Photobook.

I like to make one Kaisercraft Xmas Project each year....this year I'm workng on the SANTA SLEIGH.........................shall share when I've finished it! I plan on filling it with a few treats for the kids....

Has anyone else started to make their Xmas Cards? I love this time of the year when i can get crafty making gifts and cards.....it's such fun!!!!
