Well seeing it's a cold, wet and Wintery Sunday I thought I'd get a little crafty
It's such a sad day when anyone dies...but when it's the son of someone that has had such a positive impact on your life it hurts....it really hurts. A few days ago Heidi Swapp lost her beloved son Cory.
Such a tragedy......at such a young age. No mother should have to bury their son.
My thoughts and prayers are with Heidi and her family and friends all around the world.
When I first started Scrapbooking....it was Heidi who made a big impact on how I would scrap....I have had the pleasure of meeting Heidi in both Melbourne and Sydney on a few occasions. Crafters around the world have been touched by the openness and honesty with which Heidi goes about her daily life and work.
I only knew of Cory through all the family pics that Heidi has shared over the years......prayers and thoughts just don't seem enough......just know we are all keeping you in our thoughts and prayers Heidi....you and your family are soooooooooo loved around the world .
Finally finished now .....last layout from last Christmas Eve......!
I have tried to include everyone but sadly I'm not in any of the pics as I'm always the one behind the camera. Must remember to ask someone to take one of me with the kids next Christmas.
I decided to embellish some Stampin Up calico bags today as well.....these shall be given to the grandkids with a little spending money for their holiday in Queensland.
The butterfly was created using two different Stampin Up butterfly punches. Tag is also from the Project Kit from SU. Stencil used is from Kaisercraft.
