Day 2 saw me arriving at 6:15am to attend a Photography Workshop.
I left Rod sleeping peacefully as I ventured out across the foot bridge and across to Commonwealth Park.
I was encouraged to go outside my comfort zone and to try Manual Focus.
I found it a little tricky to get use to at first but I persevered.
I had the best time....learnt so much.
Now all I have to do is to practise....
I am very happy with my effort.
I am tired now though so resting up.
Floriade is on in Canberra until October 16th...a great place to take the family.

We have purchased a new range of smaller ceramic pots for this coming season. We always like to introduce new product ranges for our customers and we also take onboard what our customers are looking for.
We have also added to our outside range of coloured metal garden ornaments......meet Florence the Flamingo Beverage Cooler
I love this time of the year when the pricing begins.....it's always a busy but fun time.
We have added some more metal animals to our range as well as some more fun Garden Wall Art. Some fun and funky garden ornaments. I love including these sorts of things whereas hubby usually goes for the plain and simple things......so it's nice to have two very different sets of eyes when we order LOL!
That way we are ensuring we cater for different people.
The tall Pink Flamingo can be used as a planter OR it can be used as an ice cooler to hold drinks, stubbies, cans, etc. We even are trialling a few sea horses this coming season....they match the Owls we have had.
Now you can have matching wall art....
We have some fun garden ornaments. Plenty of different Meerkats.
It's long now until Floriade in Canberra. We are going to attend this year.
I have also booked into a Photography Workshop whilst we are there late September.
We haven't been for about 7 years......really looking forward to going.
We have been enjoying a few days away doing some house maintainence and lawn mowing in East Gippsland.....I have also managed to do some scrapbooking for Chloe's Album, print off some more photos and create a few cards.
Weather has been pretty good.....off to poison some driveway weeds now whilst hubby is watching the footy.
