Having some time out to design a sample Christmas Card for the next Probus meeting.
It's hard to know what the oldies would like.....so I've tried to use a pretty embossing punch for the side border, some double sided ribbon from my stash, some Ink from Stampin Up and some glitter Cardstock. Nice to play with some older but gorgeous Fiskars punches .
Our family room is all ready for Christmas. I love decorating the house.
Rod thinks it looks like a Toy Shop....LOL!
I like to brighten up the house by placing objects around the house.
In the kitchen we have a Count Down Tree and Santa is always full of treats for anyone who visits.
The snowman was made by Michael in Grade 3....he comes out every year....I hide treats underneath him in a small glass....LOL!
Over the years I have created some fun Christmas Mini Albums
Hanging in the kitchen doorway are these little cuties...I actually created these about 13 years ago.
Wonder if the grandkids will spot these in the tree...
When we visited Russia for my 60th we purchased this cute wooden deco...
Gemma loves to pull it apart and then put it back together.
My Christmas Quilt is something that I was proud to create after I was extremely unwell ....I completed it in 2002.....,and this cute little Christmas House was a handmade gift from a Fiskateer friend who sadly passed away about a month after she gifted it to me.
Lyn was suffering cancer when she created this for me....I'll treasure it forever.
I hide treats inside...it's usually Gemma that spots them first....LOL!
